    Ricoh Aficio MP C305sfp

    Hi everyone

Recently I brought 2 used Ricoh Aficio MP C305sfp and I refurbished the image units by replacing drum, cleaning blade and rolers. On the black one I still have a fade black coverage. I'm asking anyone's who knows this models if the developer powder might be the issue, there is any chance to replace with new developer? I made some searches on Internet but I didn't found any supplier for this. There's any other compatibilties for developer powder from other Aficio series it might work?

    Thanks.

First thing to check is the K laser shield glass, refer to the service manual for location. If you don;t have a service manual, request one in the Service Manual Request forum https://www.copytechnet.com/forums/s...nual-requests/

If cleaning the shield glass doesn't help, then 100% it's the developer.
There is no compatible developer that I'm aware of.

Yeah, you need to match both the recipe number and the quantity.

Hi. No definitely it's not an issue from laser unit. Everithg was cleaned on refurbishing processes even the laser. I fited the image unit from the other one and it print great on full black coverage. That means is an issue with this image unit only.
You've might right sandmanmac, i might not find a solution to replace the developer powder. I dindt found any results on OEM or non OEM developer for sale on market.
Seems this models are not easily salvageable. 🥺
