You might try mounting your Google drive as a local drive and scan to that local drive. The 2FA is handled in the mounting of the drive. Advanced Drive for desktop configuration - Google Workspace Admin Help

Then the user needs to use Use Google Drive for desktop at home, work, or school. Use Google Drive for desktop at home, work, or school - Google Drive Help

It installs a drive letter, on my computer G:, and a folder/link on that drive called My Drive which is the user's own Google drive. It also gives the user the ability quickly access anything stored on his/her Google drive as if it were stored locally. And even if it doesn't let your scan to My Drive as a folder, it is still useful to have installed.

Has anyone had any luck getting a newer (SOP) Ricoh machine scanning to Google Drive through the RSI (Ricoh Smart Integrations) service?

I think it worked OK before Google removed the “Enable Less Secure Apps” function in May of 2022.

          Thanks!
          Hey ken.
I don't know anything about Ricoh Smart Integrations and I've never setup scanning to google drive, but it sounds like this might be the same situation as scanning with Gmail with 2FA enabled? Now that 'use less secure apps' is gone, you need to create an App password and input that on the machine in order to authenticate.
The machine won't authenticate with the account Password.
