[Misc] Paper take up unit compatibility

Hello to all. Does anyone know if the tandem paper take-up unit of a MP7503 is suitable for a MP7502? I know the part numbers are different, but sometimes it's because of housing colours or similar unimportant issues.
    Thanks.

I apologize for my ignorance, but I am not sure of which unit you are asking about. Perhaps you have a product code/number I might reference?

I want to use D2236310 instead of D1316200

I have not tried it so don't have a definitive answer. If you have the assembly in hand, I would pull one out of the machine and do a side-by-side comparison. If you see no difference, I would go ahead and install then test it. Sorry, I don't have any better advice...

Looking at the parts blowup of the 2 paper feed units, a very glaring difference shows up, the motor. The 03 uses a brush-less DC motor, the 02 uses a stepper motor.

            Thanks.
I have found that they are not compatible. I have heard that ricoh supplies a kit of gears and something else to fix the paper sockets that get damaged because the developer falls on them. Does anyone know about this and its reference?
            Thanks!

See the attached bulletin. It shows which gear to replace based on what tray the paper was fed from and what the jam code was. It was originally issued for the Aficio 1050/1075.
