at WIM, go to scanner send setting change this to [Off], then at smtp setting put your customize text at Signature field.

This is actually very good info.
While I'd never felt a need to do it, or frankly cared very much about it, it is sort of a cleaner/ custom look if you do, and will also resolve the issue for the original poster

Have you tried adding text here in Email Signature,

by the way RNP002673C2C979 --> 002673C2C979 is the MAC address of the device.
