    staggered sort IMC 6000

    Hello everybody

I have a problem with an IMC 6000. My customers want to have the staggered sort on all of the computers.
So, I configured on all computer the staggered sort in the driver... But if one computer print 3 documents (for example), and on other print 3 other documents, the prints are mixed and the customer has to sort all time he print...

Have you an idea to say to the copier to staggered sort in basic mode, on the copieur but not in the drivers ?

Do they have any Finisher Attached? Ext or Int?
If so, you can go to Printer Features and set Job Separation to ON, this will separate each jobs.

Yes they have a finisher, I forget to tell about it... I will try it tomorow. Your configuration will separate all jobs from all computers ?

I have a feeling that you are going to need some type of print management software on the network and app on the IMC. Otherwise the IMC will print jobs in the order that they are received. The only other option is to send everything as locked jobs. Locked jobs are not printed until a user enters the lock code to unlock them at the IMC.

I try your idea on a MPC 5503 with finisher and its work... I will try it soon on the customer's copier... Thank you

One thing you can also do is ensure job separation is in from the MFP under User tools / Printer features.

May not give you the ideal result but at least each print job is separated.
If it works, don't touch it.
