I work in the small to medium size print shop with various copiers/presses.
We were fortunate and another tenant in our building was moving out recently and we were offered a Ricoh MP C5503 w/ SR3160 Finisher.
They removed the hard drive from the unit and disconnected the finisher. I was able to attached the finisher today and fire up the machine and print a test page from windows ( no issues - even passed through the finisher ).
I wanted to test the finisher w/ staple etc.. but in my driver under finishing it is saying " [Staple] is unavailable because - [Finisher SR31600] is no [On].
Sadly I have tried the web portal with both "admin/supervisor" defaults to see if I could turn on the finish options with no luck.
Any help or advice would be appreciated.
The unit from my understanding was owned (they had several) and now our business is the next owner (no lease or service).
I plan to replace the missing hard drive if it is necessary for direct printing of documents (not storing anything).
