Hello I have a ricoh imc2500 when using the doc feeder has lines and shades clean slit glass no good even lift up scanner still gets worse only thing that changes is when push doc feeder foward gets better so your thoughts do I need doc feeder hinges

The hinges on the ardf are not the best- take off the rear adf panel and replace the screw with the spring on the closest hinge to the slit glass. Just put a normal screw in, I think it's the slightly larger screw hope you carry spares.

hello so I tried that made no difference almost made worst so put in hinges still not good so told cust to run landscape thru feeder perfect so now going to swap feeder will keep you posted
