    Need SR-90 Bookletmaker Service Manual

In search of a service and/or operating manual for SR-90 bookletmaker, as well as troubleshooting ideas.

Alternately, does anyone know how to run diagnostics on this machine? We bought it used without documentation.

It's "misfeeding" ... in all cases of misfeeds, there is one staple with legs that haven't been bent. Don't know if this is a cause or a symptom of the issue.

    Ideas, anyone?

    Thanks in advance.

    Ricoh sr-90

Hi, throw me your E-mail - I am sure I have this manual. But not to start a new tread, I am Toshia / Canon Tech and have to deal with Aficio 2090 with SR-90 bookletmaker - we bought machine and bookletmaker separately, does anyone can advice a part number for connection cable between machine and bookletmaker? I, most likely, have more manuals about all this than most of authorized dealers but can't find that part # anywere.... Thanks in advance.

Got the Manual - still have issues

Thanks for the offer. I did find a manual, but still haven't nailed down our issues. The SR-90 seems to be adjusted properly, but still doesn't bend the staples on the staple head nearest the back of the machine with booklets more than 18 sheets or so.

I can get it to work a few times after I've been feeding smaller booklets through it, but not to continuously work with the thicker booklets.

          SR 90

          Hi

I used to have one of these out there, which went through a bit of a rough patch. I had the same fault of not stapling on one of the heads. Eventually found that one of the studs on the Lower Drive Bar had sheared off and the nut had fallen off another. We ordered the Drive Bar and when it eventually arrived, fitted it the unit. It wasn't too much of a struggle, but unfortunately it didn't solve the problem. So I threw the towel in and called out a tech spec. He removed the Clincher Points from the machine, stripped them down and cleaned them up. If I remember correctly, he may have added a touch of lube oil. From that day and until it was wheeled off the the skip, it never had a problem again.....

          Good luck
