Interesting stuff. I'll have to see about ordering some. I'm going to guess there will be an initial rush on the toner and it will be on back order. '
    Thanks Ricoh.

Also, we have to replace the developer too. And it needs to be the new type.

But the old style developer is mixed with old style toner. That, it seems will muck up the magroll until the new toner gets mixed in.

The amount of old toner contained in the developer probably won't make much difference, as there really isn't a whole lot of developer total in the machine, and toner makes up a fairly small part of that developer, so it will be rapidly diluted by the new stuff.

Just checked the TSC Web site - didn't see anything but the updated mag roller sleeve they posted a while back - could you post the TB

With this mod, is there a way to disable the web end counter and sensor detection?

Probably not, but you can max out the interval and min out the drive time

Has anybody been running the fuser mod? I'm interested in what kind of results everyone has been getting.

This is what the latest firmware release is doing...0 everywhere. I'm curious if will fix my premature web depletion problem.
About the mag roller...it's no bulletin released...I just checked the TSC site.
It's a bulletin about the new toner and how to set up the voltages and a new part number for the dev unit.
For 3500/4500 Ricoh released a new part number for the dev unit B2133011 and a new pn for the mag roller B0823101

                            Fuser Mod Installed

I installed my fuser Mod the other day. Web end actuator was removed so it shouldn't kill the machine. Once installed it printed 500+ duplex with no repeat image. Hot roller already had 250K on it. Another tech stopped and check it today and was still going....
