People who know Ricoh machines know what i'm talking about lol. Anyways after a few pages of cardstock passes through the machine I start getting residual blemishes showing up on the following pages which is left over from the previous pages that ran through the fusing unit.
So we got bad fusing and we have settings such as "Thick" and "Special" and w/e else. The thick runs hotter and slower I assume, but still not enough. So I go into the SP modes to adjust the settings but a) not sure which ones I should change and b) I don't know the limits to how much I can bump the temperature.
I see H:TH and P:TH which i figure is heat thick and press thick? I bumped those up 5 degrees from 155 to 160.
There is just too many SP variations. You got thick slow, medium, and high. I could go on and on here, but basically anyone have any advice or tricks to help this Lanier keep up with the fusing on cardstock? Raise the idle temperature? Raise the default fusing temperature?
Thanks in advance.
