ricoh 2228c blurry fax prints only!

all prints and copies are perfect. when a fax report is printed or any other fax job, it prints it out all blurry (double). the letters are moving from left to right.

the 2238 2nd black laser is only use for certain tpes of jobs. it is probably something wrong with its settings.

Don't have time to look it up, but there may be an internal test pattern you could use to isolate the cause. IPU or VPU patterns maybe.
Don't take that toner with me!

I've had the same with an Aficio 3228. Cleared the SAF-memory and the faxes were OK.

The laser is constantly monitored so if there's really someting wrong with the laser I would expect an SC-call.

Refer to Bulletin B147-006 - Might be a bad board or RAM

              Sorted

I have sorted this by changing BCU board (B1905060) after swapping rest of boards (motherboard, IPU . . .)
