Ricoh 1022 SC670

Customer called with a SC670 on this Aficio 1022.
It has print and fax, but no scan or document server so no hard drive and no sorter.
Had him try a reset over the phone and it wouldn't come to ready and after about 3 minutes SC670 comes up.
Kind of far away so I'd like to bring anything I might need with me.
Any suggestions (short of a new machine)

Its a controller to op panel communication error.Might posssibly be a SBCU or power supply issue.And dont rule out the op panel

Sounds familiar. We had the 29 Palms Marine base and power in gov. installations is poor. We had SC670's and it turned out to be either a SBCU or controller board. Circuit Board Repair by Hytec Dealer Services, Inc. can help with the boards.

Reseating the print dimm seems to have taken care of it.
