    Light Copies C7500, any ideas?

I have a C7500 that is just a smidge light by the customers standard. It seems as though the fill needs just a little bit more toner in it. You can read the copy fine. Machine has a total of 260k on it. Did a drum rebuild including new corona unit, both blades, lube bar, and Dev change. I checked the transfer unit, it has the latest rollers and the firmware is up to date.

Everyone says not to recalibrate dev on this machine so I am wondering if I could mess with some SP's to get it a little darker.

The machine has no SC codes and process control passes

    Any thoughts are appreciated

You could try sp 3820-2.exe density adjustment.
Increasing toner supply rate may help.
Check ITB unit to make sure all charge rollers are where they are supposed to be as well as the Paper transfer roller.
Is the image dark on the drum?
If so, it could be an image transfer issue.
These are all guesses I'm afraid.
    Good luck brother

this machine is junk! Are you only having a problem with one of them? They all puke toner (cyan and magenta the worst) and the cleaning units get heavy build-up on the drum blade (lower). I least concern is the extreme light fill on blacks. Does anyone know how to fix these issues?????

P.S. - if you do 3820-2, go get your vac, your gonna be a while. write that sp out of your head on this machine.

If a customer keeps calling back then it is an issue Bier. Look at other MPC 6000 threads for the answer to your question. Not all customers even use the color on these machines 270K Black with 2K Color on this one
