    RICOH CL3500 lines on page

    Hello,

i have a cl3500 which i have just fitted new toners but ive done a test print and found that there are some cyan lines running down the page where there shouldnt be. its only on the colour portion of the page as the parts that have no print are clear. The lines are very thin and grouped in 2 areas 1 about 1" wide and 1 about 1/4" wide.

the machine is showing no errors.

The lines may have also been there before the toners were fitted as i have no history of the machine.

Thanks in advance for any help. Mark

Replace the PCU, there will be a mark on the charge roll.
Most of the time the operators need fixing, not the machine !!!

I own a CL3500 and thought it would be a good color (colour) printer for home. PCU's ware out sooner than advertised. Canadian Tech is right. My cyan is leaving a 1" (2.5cm?) wide mark now on the page. I checked the PCU it is the charge roller (going bad). A little less than $400 (US). Sorry.

The PCUs for this machines are just an unreliable crap. Ricoh claimed that they had modify some stuff but this streaking is still an issue. The best recommendation: get rid of the machine
