Aficio 700. popped sc 300 when machine just turn on. Swapped with a known good charge unit, problem remains. Any clues. thanks.

After replaced the charge corona unit, Did you perform reset?Go in to SP then off and on the machine. if still try to change the High Voltage Board.DYNAMIC OFFICE SOLUTIONS -

It could also be the drum potential sensor. Had one do that once a long time ago.sigpic
Relax! This firmware injection won't hurt...but it will take 45 minutes.

Try stretching the springs in the rear of the unit to ensure proper contact. Also, check drum ground.VectorLinux---Check it out!Comment
