    HDD for Pro 1106EX

Does anyone try to replace the hard disks for Katana with a third party disks?

I try but was not succesfull. The disks are not seen by the m/c.
The disks are identical (not the same brand as the original ones) and are brand new.

    Any information?

From all the information I have learned, the drives are formatted in a proprietary RAID configuration. Keep in mind that separate partitions are created for Copy, Doc Server, Scanning, Printing, Address Book etc.

If anyone knows any tricks I'd love to know them.

Relax! This firmware injection won't hurt...but it will take 45 minutes.
