    Digidocflow on Ricoh Mp2510

    Hey,

Today I had some troubles while installing digidocflow on a Ricoh Mp2510.
I used the vm card with type B client and I tried to install it from slot 3.

I followed the standard procedure and first tried to install the javaTM platform. (both, because there is also a svr java platform)

The allocation I defined is the scanner button. After the installation i should shut down the machine and after reboot and waiting 60 sec. I should have the possibility to choose the java platform and application manager, but not here.....
I only can acces the normal options like copy, doc.server, fax, print and scan. If I look back in the ext. features settings by choosing the setting button, I can see that the status of both Java platforms is 'waiting'. A bit further in advanced settings I can see that both platforms are installed fine.

I've tried to install on the 2de slot without result, also with the document server as allocation.
I compared the files on the SD card with a type C and type I, but nothing weird.
At last i've updated the files on the card under 'sdk\dsdk\dist map' with the files on the inst. CD, but nogo.

I waited long enough and rebooted a lot, but still....Waiting.
Does somebody have an idea or got the same issue?

    thx,

    Froota

Are you able to install it via Web image monitor-extended feature

Are you able to install it via Web image monitor-extended features. I always install apps this way not familiar with this app though. Sometimes the file should be in a zipped format instead of unzipped.

      Hello,

Digidocflow is a softwaretool that must be installed on a server, and a client is needed to make connection with the software from the machine. All the files needed are pre-installed by the manufacture on a SD card, propably also with a license key. I've already installed Type I client on 6-7 Mpc2800's without problems, and all the files are unpacked.

Today I tried to install a type C-client on a Mpc3000, and I also can't select digidocflow, and have an error while installing the java platform. strange....

        Not sure!

The only issues I have had with problems like these was either firmware related, wrong java type sd card ordered, application doesnt work on newer models ( eg earlier versions of Enhanced locked print on new colour MFP's dont work). Try formatting the hard drive and reinstall, is what I would try first. good luck

          digidocflow

i always install digidocflow over the web page. just load the app to the hdd, and select run at startup. you dont want to load to the sd card. the file is to be zipped when sending it. the button you want if givin the choice is the extended feautres button. then at the machine you simply log in (14401 i believe) and add the ip to the server with the software on it. you would have needed to set that up already so the software knows the ip of the copier. good luck!

            Hello,

            Thanks for your respons.
The information you wrote is correct, and I also tried to install it with web image and had a bit hope that this could help, but after specifying the allocation button and start-up, i should have the possibility to choose digidocflow in the list, and this list is blank.

We are going to try it next week with a new sd card, so I will give some feedback if it works.

            regards,
            Froota
