Hi. I've oiled that shiny shaft that the print heads run on, now it is throwing out the printing alignment. What can i do, maybe use a thicker grease?

Check the encoder strip is running through the photo-sensor located at rear of the print heads.

I've had an issue with the photointerupter failing causing mis-alignment of print.

The part number is 1403 1301.

The photo interupter is easily replaced.
