    MPC2800 Scan reset

I have a customer who has an MPC2800. When scannng to folder the destination resets straight after the job has delivered, On their MPC2500 the destination stays highlighted to allow another batch (differant scan job ) to be sent. The would like the MPC2800 to do the same. Is this the way they are now?

I was looking for the same a few months ago, but found nothing. (not is the user manual, not in the SP-modes). Ricoh says that it's not possible.

It's alright them saying that, but the customer is a large blue chip company, and are a large national account for Ricoh(NRG) I think they should do someting about it firmeware or something. Fat chance!!!

Maybe when they get a lot of questions/complaints they will change it.

All the new controllers do this by default now, but it can be changed back though.

Scanner SP > Release user info.

I wouldn't say Ricoh support are completely useless... you could bang their heads together and make a formidably thick fence.

Some of them are ok and know their stuff... depends 'who' your talking to.
