    Savin 9920DP printing problem

Someone was playing around with the printer setup on our machine and now it just displays "initializing". Is there a way to bypass this and reset the printer functions?

Any help will be be greatly appreciated.

There is a menu reset feature in UserTools, I think in UT>Printer features.

Yes, I have tried menu reset from UT>System but it doesn't clear the printer configuration. I need to find a way to access the printer UT because they don't appear as the printer is "initializing". I was hoping to find a way to reboot the machine to the factory defaults.

If you cant reach the ut settings you must remove and reinsert the SIMMS on the controller and any other connection. If this doesnt resolve it, replace the controller.
I would suggest 5-801 memory clear but I dont think that includes the printer. But if you decide to try that be sure and print out an smc list 5-992 first.

Thanks for the reply. Where are the SIMMS located on this machine?
