    AP3800

I have a 3800 showing SC389 and the colour test print of fish shows the cyan fish is enlarged about 400%.
A previous engineer has changed the toner pump. He removed the laser assembly to change it and since he has put it back together it has developed this fault. He has also apparently swopped around the laser sync boards to try and diagnose the fault.
    Any suggestions?

    SC389 : Development Gamma Error

According to the service manual it has something to do with :

    - Unsuitable toner density
    - Toner supply mechanism problem
    - Laser exposure problem
    - Image transfer problem

Did the technician replaced the magenta toner pump? Because the technician removed the laser unit, the laser could also be the problem.
