    twain scanning mp 161... please help!

    i am setting up scanning on a RICOH mp 161 using the document binder twain driver, my question is the customer wants all the files to be saved as a PDF for adobe but everything saves as a JPG. how is that changed? she is really iritated and i've tried everything i could think of to no avail... please help and god bless...

    Go to "USER TOOLS"> SCANNER FEATURES>SEND SETTINGS> FILE TYPE PRIORITY> MULTI-PAGE:PDF

        Have the customer buy a scanning program that supports twain to PDF. Like PaperPort, Nitro PDF Pro or something similar...there are lots of them out there including the $$$ Adobe Acrobat Pro.

          What is the need for twain scanning? Why not scan to folder? Are they using something like Laserfiche?

            scanner nrg 161 spf

            if you scan whit twin driver you can scan only in JPG format.you can instal some PDF program how can covert on JPG in PDF. you can scan in PDF whit SCAN TO MAIL and SCAN TO FOLDER
