At PM cycle or when damaged.

Relax! This firmware injection won't hurt...but it will take 45 minutes.

Technically they should be replaced at the scheduled PM interval or when damaged. However, I've had them go 5 times the PM schedule or never make the PM cycle....Depends alot on the media the customer is using and their volume.

as long as it does'nt give you a problem. cleaning is a must practice.
fix the customer first then fix the machine... its simple and makes life more easy.

          Transfer belt

We service quite a few 22 and 32 series color machines. Here is what i'm seeing. The transfer belt ieself generally is causing copy quality problems due to poor registration or spots due to dimples in the belt. Of critical importance is the cleaning of the rollers which drive the belt. Toner build-up causes slippage and offset type problems. The belts will eventually stretch and will cause varying registration problems. In sum clean the rollers and the belts will exceed the PM cycle.

Yes i agree if the when the pm light comes on or if it makes it depends on volume of printing i have changed them for copy Quailty after color collabrates, even sometimes customer damage it removing paper jam.
