    SR-720 finisher

Besides maybe a curl in the paper what would cause paper to buckle after entering the finisher then stopping??? the finisher is chosen as the output paper source for everything. I did flip the paper in the cassette and had no more trouble. I also to the back cover off the finsher nothing caught my eye as a possible problem. Also checked the entrance guide on the finisher it was good.
    Thanks!!!

Have seen quite a bit of low quality paper cause this issue. Also, dont forget to check the paper package, most reliable ones tell you which side to copy first.

Try paper curl down and also check grain direction...SR 720 was a piece of a finisher...

These finishers are notorious for breaking the r3 guide, too. The plastic pin that goes through the rear frame snaps off causing jams.

As mentioned the top cover and guide are the first suspects. I will add that if the paper is curling on the corner even just a little it will jam too. This is most often due to paper clinging to the upper fuser roll. On copiers with no oil roller, the oil comes from the lower roller so u and l have to be changed.

You never realize how cheap a professional is until after you let an amateur do it.
