    Print problems with Lanier 5222

    Hey all,
I have a client (a bank) that outputs reports to their Lanier 5222 from a program called Accuterm 97. The problem they're having is the machine will frequently output a blank page when they output (for example) loan documents. They're using the PCL 6 driver. Has anyone seen this before? Any solutions?
    Let me know!

I would be looking at the customer software on this, have you tried printing from the desktop of a pc say a pdf or tiff file/document- what result do you get? What version of windows is the server running and where are the print jobs coming from( desktop workstation direct or via a print server). Does this happen on another printer? It is unlikely that ther is a problem with the machine.
Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change.

      Following up

To answer the first question - the problem only surfaces when outputting from their accounting software (prints from all other apps are fine). Their pcs generally are running windows XP - I'm not sure what their server is running. I will follow up later today when I have an answer on the final question (does it do it on other printers) but I have confirmed with the client that they don't have this problem at their other branch.

Could be a margin is just set outside the printable area or something along those lines.

You could try doing a 'print to file' raw dump and viewing it in PCLReader (View PCL, Convert PCL, and Print PCL with PCLReader).
This freeware tool can come in useful for troubleshooting such problems.

        Check print driver versions etc.
