Sounds normal, PDF by any chance?

Bitmap's are large uncompressed images and they will take a age to spool and print.
Check the print driver is the latest version as there are bug fixes.

If it is a PDF try recreating the customers file from within Acrobat std/pro embedding the fonts and using a older PDF version (1.4 or 1.5).
I've found alot of these thrid party PDF writers and pluggins they use can be flakey and cause these kind of issues.

Finally if all else fails install the PS3 or PCL5c driver along side the RPCS and do some test printing.

      Yes,

Use the pcl5c driver from the website.

Better results, certainly for color prints.

      good luck!
