OK-Let's see if I can understand this....

    Hi Guys
I have an Af 1075 with this problem

"Put the Paper on right side of the Tray"

-so you've loaded paper on the right side of the tray, and when you close the right portion of the lcc and the lcc attempts to lift up-

    "it lift up"

So far, the lcc is doing what it is supposed to do. But.....

"then The Display indicates Wait paper would be trasfert from left to right"

I am not understanding why the machine would say this, since it knows that paper is on the right side, and it has already lifted the paper up to a 'ready' state. Is the paper on the right side coming back down and the machine is trying to move the paper on the left side?

    "and Rimains in this condition"

Which condition does the lcc remain in? Does it remain in the condition of a normal 'ready' state on the right side, is the lcc trying to do something else, with the rear guide motor trying to turn? Or is the lcc trying to come back down from the 'ready' state, as though it thinks there is now no paper on the right side and trying to push the paper over, and the paper from the left is not moving?

"Lcc does not work any help please!"

I have had problems with the drive gear that comes off of the large gear that is screwed into the lcc rear fence motor. It gets cracked, and the lcc cannot move the paper over to the right. Sometimes, the connector gets messed up from the years of movement on the drawer.

If the LCT can't move the paper from the left side to the right side, the machine must give a service call on the LCT, like 509 for example.

As I understand it it : the LCT lifts the paper on the right side. When it has finished lifting the paper, the LCT detects no paper. So it tries to move paper from the left side to the right side. If it detects paper on the left side it tries to transport it to the right side. When this action goes wrong you must have a service call in your display.

Like schooltech said, try to loosen the connector at the back side of the LCT a little bit so it connects properly with the machine.

            Try this,

Remove both sides of the tamdem tray.

Check the fixing screws on the centre rail in the machine (The lower left edge of the right tandem tray runs on this. The screws can loosen and cause the tray to drop.

Check the black plastic runners on the lower left edge of the right hand tandem tray (Front and rear). The mounting pins can become bent upwards. This can cause the tray to twist and the plug / socket at the rear may not locate. Remove the plastic runners and bend the pins down (If bent!!) until level.

Remove the front cover of the Right tandem tray. check the location of the sensors for the front "gate" on the tray.

if you only install the Right side of the tandem tray does the tray lift and operate OK?

            If yes

On the LEFT tandem tray, check the plastic gear on the Motor shaft which drives the belt to move the left guide (As suggested by Schooltech?)

It the above does not work, Swap the feed stations between trays 1 and 3. This will tell you if the problem is a sensor on the feed station.

Have you rebuilt the feed stations recently? It is possible to trap a wire in the loom which will reproduce a similar fault.

            hope this helps.

When the right side tray reaches the top there is a sensor in the paper feed unit that detects the paper at the right height. Have you tried swapping feed station 1 with either 2 or 3? It could be a bad/dirty sensor or a pinched/disconnected wire going to the feed unit connectors.

If you had done any service on this unit right before the problem occurred there is a good chance something was not reassembled correctly.

Relax! This firmware injection won't hurt...but it will take 45 minutes.

                Paper Height Sensors

On the front of the right tray is paper height sensors it is possible the upper sensor is bad or displaced. The tray will lift until stopped by the p/u roller. but will have a paper out condition triggering the message. Might want to check it.
