    Ricoh 2238c waste toner problem

    unit says "waste toner almost full" but i emptied the bottle,

    any suggestions...

      There is a simple sensor with a feeler arm above the waste toner bottle at the front.
      Reseat the waste toner bottle / check the spring mech that pushes the waste toner bottle up against the sensor / check the sensor it's not dirty or damaged.
      • Knowledge not shared, is eventually knowledge that becomes lost... like tears in the rain.

          I'm with Cipher on this. Here's some added info:

          waste toner full will not clear - check waste sensor with SP 5-803-13 bit 3 (0 not full, 1 full)

          Relax! This firmware injection won't hurt...but it will take 45 minutes.
