I need to know how to turn off all user codes and count manager code. I forgot the password and can not operate my machine nor can anyone else.

What is the jumper and how do I connect it to the bypass unit. You are the teacher and I am the student. Thank you.

you will see cover 4 Cm X 6 Cm between the scaner and the bypass unit, open it and then connect the jumber.

but be cerful, there are three Pins, i think you should connect the left and right one, to make sure, check the point to point.

Does the jumber have two wires, six ?? The control panel has to be removed in order to get to any units: correct? Are there any other choices other than the left or right? Don't want to make an expensive boboo. Thanks.

I think you canturn off the user code mode without the jumper. Enter User tools / System Settings / Count Manager.

You will find "Set User Code". "Key Counter" and Set key Card". Turn these off.

For the panel / jumper mentioned, see attached. I hope the jumper is taped inside the panel!

                The pins are paired 1 / 2 5v dc, 3 / 4 24v dc.

DO NOT touch pin 3! ypu can short to pin 4 and blow a pcb!

You must link pins 1 and 2 (5v line) to disable the key counter.

Also, If all you want to do is RESET the Key Operator mode use SP 7-810!

You can then enter a new code! Try the last 8 digits of your service telephone number!

If they were not using an external counter use tcs04's method in user tools.

Relax! This firmware injection won't hurt...but it will take 45 minutes.

Hold on a second! Are you a tech or an end user??

If end user DO NOT go ner the machien with a meter!

Just remove the panel and IF there is a link plug, SWITCH OFF the machine before you plug it in!

                      If not CALL AN ENGINEER!

That wisdom that you gave me caused me to be able to access my copier. Bless you. Still unable to get into the count manager but I'm going to use the info to reset the codes. You are the bomb TCS04!! Hopefully the "TC" stands for "TOTALLY COMPETENT" or "Teaching Champ" Keep us going!
