    Ricoh 4410 SC322

    When I turn on the fax it comes up saying replace toner. I opened the front door close it, then it goes into SC322 ( laser code). I replaced the FCU pwb and the laser unit, (both listed in the service manual) still the same. I manually added some toner to the drum unit. Still no change. I cheated the side door to make sure the drum was turning. HELP!

    wow, not familiar with this box but these ricoh fax'es are fairly bullet proof. is there a "laser shutter" that is not fully open? have seen this several x on other bxs. did you change out the toner cart with an "oem" cart? adding toner directly to drum cart will NOT eliminate this message. suggest you chng tn cart first then see if you get 322 code. try this and will go further!!

      ive had this a couple of times try replacing the toner cartridge this sc322 occurs sometimes when theres a cartridge change.

        I think you have 2 problems : the SC322 and the replace toner message. I would replace the PCU unit. I have a lot of these faxes in service and sometimes the PCU-Unit gets overtoned.

          finally fixed

          sometimes it is the obvious. The toner cartridge was defective. After replacing it no more Sc322... Thanks for the help
