    Aficio 2090

    i update the system firmware in Aficio 2090 during updating machine power down when i trun it on showing error sc817 (0x00000004 ) please guide me how i overcome this problem

    I think the data on the SD-card is corrupt or damaged. Try to format the card, and try again. If this doesn't work, try another SD-card.
    The error 0x000004 means that the machine can't read/load the files on the SD-card.

      i use same card to another machine its working and even new card i try but problem is still there

          Let me get this straight....you lost power during the firmware update? If so you need to follow the instructions in Section 5-10 "Recovery After Power Loss" in your Service Manual. Probably going to need to order the Boot SD Card the part number is listed in that section.

            Well, this happened to me right now on a 2075. Error code 817 and I'm stumped. Any tips?

                Also be aware there are 2 different firmware levels for this machine Check the Tech bulletin:

                  Thanks Shad, I'm talking about a 2075. Maybe I shouldn't have hijacked this thread.
