    ricoh fw 870

This one has light copy. HV contacts are making a connection, the toner solenoid checks ok. I ran a simulation and dumped some toner and it took care of the light copy. The new developer sim won't run without giving ans E=11 error. That is a "didn't tone correct" indication. I think the toner density sensor, but anyone have experience with this old beast?

    Thanks

      Thanks for the reply.

Do you mean I have to replace the developer?

Thanks again. I have lots of manuals for fax, printer & copiers.

        E-11

You will probably need a new toner density sensor, I've seen this several times replace it and the developer, should work fine.
