just as i got this 3235-c working right, the damn customer bought a new vista machine. thinking about setting the scans to go to the document server. can i install desktop lite and use it to search and print or e-mail from the document server to the computor. does desktop work with VISTA. or just buy a third party scanning program that works with vista. on xp i used omni form 5.0 to scan and worked great. never installed desktop lite on xp. any help ?? thanks howard

Hi,
Desktop Binder Lite does work with Vista 32 bit; 64 bit is not supported.
Just got that from the Ricoh USA site.
You may want to check out my personal favorite, Irfanview. You would need to use it with the TWAIN driver for your MFP.
It's free, very reliable, and easy to use.

i installed Irfanview on my xp machine and then on customers VISTA machine WHAT a great scan program that is and it's FREE ! i read all the posts on here about scanning problem and some from me but never again install the twaine drivers and Irfanview and your ready to go. if your going to be in las vegas for the recharger show i need to buy you a beer ! thanks again howard auburn business systemsComment
