I have a Savin 2535 I have been fighting (I know, who doesn't?). It makes a great copy when I leave after adjusting the LD voltages back up. A few hours to a day later it comes back with these random, printed lines. The voltages get lower for some reason. For instance, this morning the LD volts for copying were like -55v. The default is -20v. Any ideas. I have searched but not found this exact issue. Thanks, Paul

PM lately? Check the numbers on that. Replace the PM parts in the PCU and do a developer change. It sounds like a temporary fix at best just bumping the LD voltage.(not something you normally have to do)NEVER ASSUME ANYTHINGComment

You got you some bad door switches dude. The ones next to the fuser. Can also be caused by the switches on the left front but all the toner is on the right. Remove the DF, the scanner and replace those switches. Damn near guaranteed.
PS, you're not supposed to adjust the LD power, just read it for troubleshooting. Like you know, increased resistance thru the switches to the LD causes decrease current flow means higher voltage. You're saying voltage but the power is current.
