Help me, Aficio Mp2000L with SC590?

    Hi everybody.

I had a big problem with this SC590.

i dont know to solve it.

I checked SM this SC590 means Left exhaust fan Motor error.
but i checked that fan with another power.that fan is ok.

So i check out of motor is ok but 2 fan( rear fan and left fan) didn't run.

i checked power out on main that's ok.

    i dont know what happens.

Please help me. thank a lot.

Try running SP5804-005 and SP5804-006 to test the fan. Do not know if the test is for the rear, left or both fans.

It would not surprise me if the "duplex fan" mentioned in the SP5804 (-040 -041) and SP5803 tables are actually the LEFT fan. Try those as well.

    good luck

If the fan has 3 wires you have to replace it. The 3th wire is "Hall sensor" something like "pulse generator" .

Why are you wasting so much time over this. The left fan is less than $20.00!!!! Just replace the darn thing.
