Ricoh RW-240 Prints background as Black

Hello, I have a Ricoh 240 wide format printer that uses Plotbase software.

This is my problem:
Any thing I print from the computer comes out with the background black and font white. But if I scan something through it to make a copy the printer prints normal.

Things I have tried:
1. Reloaded all software and printer drivers.
2. Inverted the colors on Plotbase the font will come out black and the background will be a few shades lighter than black.

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
