    Ricoh Aficio 180

Had to replace the toner cartridge due to a SC-302. There appears to still be some toner still left in that cartridge, does anyone know how to get it out so I can transfer it to another cartridge? Any help appreciated, thank you.

Hmm that is the old 9918dp. All in One Cartridge. Not seen anyone remove toner from them before. Drill a hole in the top, pump it out like you were removing gas from a fuel tank. I dunno. I would just chunk it.

That is most likely developer, not toner, left in the cartridge. Just toss it in the trash. It is all in one for a reason.

It is mono component toner so no separate dev but as an engineer, why would you care? The machine is ancient.

This is the only Ricoh product our dealership refused to sell! One decent paper jam and the fuser split in half! Do yourself and your customer a favour and junk it. I'm supprised you could still get a cartridge anyway.

Or waste toner. I think AIO (All-In-One) cartridges also have the waste toner in there, which you definitely do not want to put back in the machine!

We sold a lot of these. Only problem they had was the horrible fuser design. Still a few out there.
