Aficio MP C2500 Printout faint in the middle.

MP C2500 prints copies faint or clear/blank in the middle when print black and white copies in the morning the improves with more copies printing but becoming a daily routine. All other 3colours print well. When in SP3-012-1 mode, I get 11111158/59 then 11111111 after executing SP2-111-3 and SP2-111-1 for forced line position adjustment and perform ACC.

I have changed the complete PCU, swapped the transfer roller and transfer belt unit and the problem was not solved.

Any ideas I would really appreciate.

After all the part's you've already replaced it's hard to guess what's causing the problem.

Is the firmware up to date? There was a problem with the laser shutter in the very beggining but I think the image failure was a light density towards the border.

    What you should try first:

Initiate a full size black copy (cover open) and stop the machine during that process. Then take a look at the black drum and transfer belt to see if it's fully coated with toner (or not) - that would be at least a first step to encircle the issue.

Could it be moisture in the machine? Moisture on the laser shielding glass?

I had this with a very cold MPC2500. When I switched it on the image was faint in the middle. When the machine warmed up the image was OK.

I'd be looking at the ID sensors, particularly the MUSIC ones, anyway all 7 are on the one unit, but worth a look
Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change.
