    Ricoh 2232C printing to size

    Hi,

I been trying to print a 30X42 .PDF file to a 11x17 to the Ricoh 2232C and it keeps prompting me for the size of the paper shouldn't just automatically find the paper size it can take and print it that size. I been trying all types of settings "shrink to printed area 11x17 and still getting a prompt on the printer when i try to print from my computer.

My printer driver is a RPCS wonder if that may be the issue

    any takers?

    Thanks

    Think you might need PCL.

If none of the paper sizes in the machine match the paper size sent with the print job, you will get an error message at the printer.
Don't take that toner with me!

Have you tried this? See attached....

Also if you are printing from AutoCad or similar there may be some settings you need to set there. The Software will ALWAYS over ride the printer settings.

        sigpic

Relax! This firmware injection won't hurt...but it will take 45 minutes.
