    mpc2800 vs mpc2050

Is there much difference between these two machines quality wise? Is the print quality the same or are they 2 different engines?

Similar but different. I just saw a big bulletin yesterday about fiddling with SP settings to get good quality on various types of paper on the MPC2050. The MPC2800 is fine.

How about the MPC4000 and the 2800, are they the same engine?

Which would be a better choice for outright image quality the 2050 or the 2800?

      Thanks!

The engines are very similar, they use the same PCU's, dev etc. Fusers are different. The MPC2800 is a heavier duty machine, the MPC2050 is only rated for 1.1 milliomn, then they have reached end of life.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

        Hit it.

To clarify: The MPC4000 & MPC2800 have the same PCUs/Dev with different fusers. The MPC2050 uses all different parts tp the others but the internal layout is similar to the others.
