    black bacground line all off a3 paper

    hi gyes... i have gestetner 2651 or richo 76 ... and its work realy fine ... untill that day that black line uppers all off the left side of A3 paper !!! and it do so even i copy from A3 original or make any other size to A3 ... so any one can help me with that ,,, and thanks alot...

    most likely this copy comes from the hot roller. you cannot notice this before because maybe they were only using small sizes of paper like A4(and not also printing A4R) and they just print on A3 recently.

      its look like from the drum unit, check the inner case seal and do PM.

        I've never worked on this old model. But, could that be a bad cleaning blade? It looks like the line moves across the page. Its an odd looking line for a cleaning blade, though.

          I agree it is an odd looking line, but it most likely is the drum unit so clean it and replace the blade. A4 lef and A3 are the same dimension widthways so if you dont get it on A4 ASWELL then it's a different issue. But you normally find a THOROUGH clean and polish does the trick

            That is probably not the real line which he is showing. It looks like he tried to simulate it with a paint program.
            Don't take that toner with me!

              thats right ... i do that to make apoint and to show exactly where is my proplem ...

              my friends ... thanks alot for trying to help ... and i will try to replace the cleaning blade... or cleaning the drum unit first... then will see ..

              ps: i replaced the v ram battry alomost a month ... does that couse sush think too... or not..?
