    Scan to Folder 1515mf

The 1515mf are great little machines, we have them averaging 8K per for for 2 years now. One major pain is trying to get one to scan correctly. I just spent 2.5 hours w/ two highly certified IT people w/o success. One of our issues is trying to enter a server destination in the copier. After entering it in the address book the window says it's programed but we can not get it to show up as a stored destination for scanning. It keeps registering in the fax quick dial addresses. I spent 3 hours last month trying to get one to print via USB cable. The book says use PCL6, which results in 1000 pages of ascii language any time you try to print. we resolved this by using the PCL 5 driver. This worked for one customer but hasn't worked on any other install. Anybody have a clue on the scan issue?
    Thanks in advance,

Forget about trying to do it from the op panel. Use the web interface or Smart Device Monitor for Admin to configure the address book. It's the easiest way to configure any non-touch panel Ricoh machine, and also an easy way to show a key-op.
For printing, I've never had any issue setting one of these up so long as you use the PCL5 driver and configure the port to LPR. The queue name is lp. Works every time without fail, and it's actually the way Ricoh recommends setting up any TCP/IP port.
