    aficio 3235c locked out of everything..

    alright i'm giving up!!!

    i have 2 aficio 3235'cs that i just took in on trade and i'm locked of all user tools...
    and cannot for the life of me figure out the admin security code,
    i can even find a override code in the service manual....can someone help...
    i feel really stupid on this one...

      oh god that thread scares me, you mean to tell me that there is no way to reset the key operator code, right now the machine blocks me from making color copies and won't let me calabrate the colors.....
      and what the heck is the nvram , is that a memory chip ?? if so where is it..

          normally you can go into sp made and run sp7810 to reset it

            NO. i'm a tech relax ,were just getting into these units..

                You should be able to log in as supervisor and change the admin password.

                    by the way sp -7810 only works onthe 2232c series not the 3235c series..
                    correctme if i'm wrong...

                    also my line adjust is failing and i checked and cleaned all 3 id sensors,
                    the color that appaers off is the megenta, also did all the td adjustments and all came out with code 1 passing... my line adjustments are indicating: 070707....can anyone help....preety please...

                      ok i got in, thanks, it calibrated ok but we still have shadow with the megenta...any help would be great...

                          If your shadow in magenta is just a background on the paper, try replacing the PCU and developer units. Being the first drum in line it usually goes a little prematurely. If it's not lining up, then the bulletin attached by Ricohlovers is the thing to do.
