How to change :

G3 Switch

Initial TX modem rate - set to 14.4
Initial RX modem rate - set to 14.4

or maybe :

Initial TX modem rate - set to 9.6
Initial RX modem rate - set to 9.6


and may be :

PABX equalizer - set to high (both tx and rx)
PSTN cable equalizer - set to high (both tx and rx)
Reconstruction time - set to 12s



in all canon's i do this and work fine, got first ricoh - and have some problems - fax didn't work.
found how to enter in sp mode, but didn't understood how to change...

Hello there....

What you are asking is not explained in a few words ....You have to go in FAX/fascimile SPmode and then alter some bitswitches...You got to have the servicemanual or you do nothing at all and leave it be as is....
For manuals go to TESSA support or ask your dealer.

first of all - sorry of my english

we have PBX+frame realay - frame realay - "alia" radio line's

all our's hardware ar set to if ECM OFF and fax speed is 14,400 or lower - then we have no problem send'ing/receiving faxes


in this docuemntation found somethink to change ECM-Off, ant activate low speed, but i'm not shore is this right
