    Gestetner 10512 dev spill

    Hi all!

I have a 10512 that keeps on spilling dev, i have replaced all seals, replaced the dev, cleaned the mag rollers, adj the doc blade, and still it will not stop spilling dev .

Replacing the dev unit is not an opption even if it has done 7mill in 2years.

    Any advice?
    What? HuH?

Stock up on vacuum filters and paper feed units because you're gonna need them. Parts wear out (including dev units) and they eventually have to be replaced.

    Best of luck to you!

It's going to need a new dev unit fella, 7 mil is a lot for one of those.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

        Hit it.
