    Dog Earing Ricoh AF2045

Hi all im having problems with ricoh 2045.Has random dog earing.Originally looked like cheap paper or moisture in paper.Have removed finisher bridge unit and still no change. The problem is intermittent once every 10 copies or so have rebuilt fuser appears it is dog earing before it hits the fuser image is not skewed which is confusing me slightly but just cant actually find where it is happening? If anyone could help us out or give me a fresh idea it would be much apperciated.

Check the plate under the drum unit. The clips tend to break and stick out just enough to catch the paper. Replace it or tape it down.
Why do they call it common sense?

If it were common, wouldn't everyone have it?

Check the bottom right hand cover is closed properly. I have had them where they have closed on the left side properly but not the right and caused dog ears straight out of the tray.

I've seen what Apache said also. You may want to look at the entrance guide to the fuser to make sure it is not gunked up with hardened toner which can catch an edge of the paper.
Don't take that toner with me!
