MPC3000 Print controler

Hi All
I went to install a MPC3000 which i had tested in my shop when i installed it and went to ping the IP address it keeps saying undeliverable I checked the
IP address several times even gave it another address. so I brought it back
to the shop and hooked it up to the shops computer and still says the same thing. is it possible I took out the print controller? I checked both the IP and Gateway several times.

I don't see how. Has the customer given you an IP assigned by their IT department? Is the machine on the same subnet and gateway as the rest of their PC's?

I would redo the network setup again with your laptop and a crossover cable with the same network segment and subnet and try to ping and web browse in, if you are able to web browse in then nothing wrong with your controller and just wrong setting on network setup

OK it was not my best moment, Came in this morning printed the SMC report
and there it was all my protocols were inactive don't know how they got shut off.
