    User codes and Mac printing

I have a customer with a MPC3300, they want to have user codes for copying and printing, they are running Mac 10.5 and want a pop up box to enter the code prior to printing, is this possible? they don't want to lock the code into the driver, just have a pop up window.

    Thanks

1.) Hope you have installed the postscript card
2.) Are you installing driver in server or in the local drive of the pc ?

User code for copying is different from user code for printing.
User code for copying has to be set on the MFP immaterial of OS, NOS used.

Do not think this is possible on any mac version. The only way you can get a pop up is by using Default Editor and modify the driver. I am almost certain this will not work on a postscript driver.

Thanks for the replies, Pravin.Kumar the drivers are loaded onto local workstations.
Apache Cat, I also dont think this is possible, but I don't know the Ricoh box that well, I work on Toshiba's and what i'm posting isn't possible on them.
When you say use the Default Editor, are you saying that in there is somewhere to activate the pop up, or that's the only place to look for a possible answer.

Thanks again for your prompt replies

Default editor is a Ricoh program that allows you to modify the driver in certain ways. Like making a colour driver b&w only or specifying pop up window when using codes to print.
