MPC 2000 Problem ControllerBoard
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hello, I have a problem on a MPC 2000.
Following a problem on the controller board, I have changed the board order at ricoh. I have installed the board and added to it the hard disk, the NVRAM and all the components necessary. But since then I have a service code SC 995 which always appears.
Is there a specific procedure for installation?
Thank you in advance.
sigpicWe can all Win, but at the end we all loose. Save the greyhound -
SC995 is a Controller board mismatch - the only troubleshooting given in the service doc is reinstall the correct controller board. I am assuming the machine thinks the board is not for an MPC2000 - The parts catalog has 3 parts listed for the board - MPC2000 is a D042 machine, so the controller board would be a D0425781. Is that what you installed?
As iMind said - we love to help eachother out, but most of us don't speak (French???). English only please - no matter how bad your English is, it's still better than my French!73 DE W5SSJComment

I have to find in the catalogue of the MPC 2500/3000 2 reference of controller board:
B231.5781 (Controller Board: AT-C1A)
B238.5781 (Controller Board: AT-C1B)
Which is the good reference?
Is the reference of the card controller of the MPC 2000 D042.5781?
Is what there is a file with the reference of the photocopiers ricoh and their names commercial (ex: D042 = MPC2000)?
Bye.

In the front of the parts catalog is usually a crossreference table showing what models are what product code. The C2000 is a D042 - My documentation shows that board as Item 8 on the diagram. Item 8 in the parts list has 3 entries, the last one is prefixed D042 so the D0425781 has to be the board for your machine.73 DE W5SSJComment
