Ricoh Aficio 1035 SC 541. Manual says fuser thermister problem. Have changed out the fusing unit with a known good unit and get the same error code. Any other ideas?

G'day, have had a bit of trouble in the past with the connector in the machine. In fact I remember doing what you have done, with no success, and in frustration shoved the fuser into the machine somewhat harder that usual, and it worked. Remember you have to clear the fuser code in diagnostics, before it will reset.
